"In July of 2004, I had the wonderful opportunity to spend some time in the back country of Alberta, photographing semi-wild horses. This roan stallion and his interactions with his herd provided me with ample inspiration to create this work of art in the spirit of America's wild mustangs. With the current U.S. legislation allowing for the selling of these majestic animals for slaughter, I felt the need for us all to "come together" and unite in a cause worth fighting for. Once this precious heritage is lost, it can never be regained. Let us all come together and voice our feelings on the protection of the wild ones!" - The Artist
